The Rock & Pop Academy is a modern ensemble that encompasses a wide variety of styles of music including Classic Rock, Funk, Reggae, Grunge, Folk, and Blues. Each semester ends with a high-energy performance of the music cultivated through the weekly rehearsals. Students will increase their confidence and musicianship, while learning how songs are constructed, music theory, and the history behind them. Much of the music is learned like most rock and pop music - by ear.
