J@MS Faculty Berklee Benefit Concert @ BOP STOP
With The Berklee 5-Week Summer Program Scholarship Recipients
May 19 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm
This concert is presented with support from the William O. and Gertrude Lewis Frohring Foundation.
Join us on Thursday, May 19th at 7:00pm for a special live performance to support the students in Jazz at the Music Settlement (J@MS), The Music Settlement’s (TMS) nationally-recognized jazz education performance program for junior and high school students. This concert will feature our J@MS professional faculty, as well as the student recipients of TMS scholarships to attend Aspire, Berklee College of Music's 5-week music performance intensive in Boston.
This concert is free to attend in-person; donations will be accepted at the door. In addition, this concert will be livestreamed on BOP STOP's Facebook page at showtime. Accessing the stream is free, but donations are encouraged and can be made at www.givebutter.com/BerkleeBenefit
Funds raised through this concert will go directly to support the J@MS program, including equipment and instruments, scholarships for students to attend the Berklee Summer Institute, and special concerts and masterclass experiences.
The students in our J@MS program are talented, hard-working students, so please tune in and support their jazz education at The Music Settlement!
