Musical Mix and Mingle #1 Fall 2022

Chamber music Play-In

September 11 from 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Musical Mix and Mingle #1 Fall 2022

Registration required in advance to allow for practice time.

MMM ( Musical Mix and Mingle) is a fun gathering of adult amateur musicians who meet on a Sunday afternoon in the Music Settlement Burke Mansion to play chamber music together. Enrollment is open to string and wind players and pianists. Skill level needs to be upper intermediate to advanced. Fairly good Sight reading ability is a must. Refreshments are enjoyed at the end of the afternoon session.

Prior registration is necessary in order for the director Linda White to select appropriate music, assemble performers into ensembles ( trios, quartets) and send out copies of music to be practiced before the date of the Play-in. There is a modest fee for music. There are four MMM Play-ins during the school year. The other dates are: Nov. 6, Mar, 12 and June 11. Contact the Settlement ECS office for more information and to register.
