As an educator, Ed has been a member of Cuyahoga Community College's music faculty since 2002. Performer, composer, arranger, producer, conductor, and educator are all roles that Ed has maintained consistently throughout his musical career.

Jeff Slater (bass) earned his Bachelor of Music in music theory and French horn at Baldwin Wallace and did master’s work in classical and jazz music theory at the University of Wisconsin.
