Pittsburgh bassist and Oberlin College graduate Eli Naragon kicks off his debut album at the Bop Stop. A consummate sideman, Eli has organized a quintet of Northeast Ohio's best in his Bop Stop debut as a leader.

Eli Naragon is a bassist from Pittsburgh, PA and a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. In 2017, Eli first began to play with Pittsburgh’s great mentor, Roger Humphries with the The RH Factor, developing his skills on the bandstand. Since then, Eli has shared the stage with Eddie Henderson, Billy Hart, Jamey Haddad, Rufus Reid, Poogie Bell, Robert Hurst, Darryl Yokley, Jay Ashby, David Throckmorton, Tommy Lehman, Tony Campbell, and many others. Eli’s debut album, “Homage,” pays tribute to his musical predecessors and is an expression of gratitude. Currently, Eli is studying and working as a Teaching Assistant in the masters program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
