For more than 20 years JOURNEYS from Switzerland have delighted a wide range of concert and radio audiences across Europe, North America and China with their exciting Jazz-Funk-Fusion compositions. Now, during their second US Tour, they present their latest album “Gate 65”. An intriguing collection of new groovy Funk pieces, lyrical ballads, and electrifying Latin jazz compositions, which not only appeal to just jazz lovers, but a broad, multi-generational audience of music fans.
Tickets to attend this show are $20. This event will also be livestreamed on BOP STOP's Facebook page at showtime. JOURNEYS is a top professional Funk Jazz Fusion band from Zurich,Switzerland, which performs all original material.
Since 2000 JOURNEYS continues to enthuse their multi generational audiences.
Musical Direcor / Pianist Angelo Signore, whose brilliant playing enriches this group, contributes his outstanding compositions. Guitar player Fabio Gueva is one of the leading guitarists/composers on the Swiss and the Brazilian scene. Philippe Mall is one of the truly brilliant sax players and composers in Switzerland today. Luciano Maranta grounds the music with his solid bass playing, while Drummer Robert Mark and Percussionist Willy Kotoun drive the band with their fiery rhythms.
After their first three successful CD’s “Different Places” in 2004, "New Destinations" (2012) and their third CD „Transit“ their new album “Gate 65” will be released in March 2023 and presented on their 2nd tour of the US - another result of their fruitful collaboration, impatiently awaited by loyal fans in the band’s home country, to be discovered by music lovers around the globe as soon as possible.
