David Young is an American keyboardist, composer, and recording artist who enjoys a multi-faceted career. He grew up in Findlay, Ohio, and attended the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music and Bowling Green State University School of Music for his formal music education.
David combines his keyboard performance skills with a strong knowledge of computer and music technologies and utmost professionalism to be in high demand with clients from around the world.
His live shows feature his piano playing and original compositions in a unique style that can create an elegant musical backdrop in a restaurant or winery setting, or he can take center stage and entertain an entire audience with a powerful concert performance.
David is known as a composer for TV and film, and for producing the soundtracks to the Sega CD video games Sonic CD, Ecco: The Tides of Time, and The Amazing Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin. He has worked with Keith Emerson, Warren Zevon, Ronnie Montrose, Eric Carmen, Michael Stanley and the Resonators, Alex Bevan, and the Cleveland Orchestra.
