ReSurgence (as the name implies) is largely culled from his acclaimed 19-piece Jazz Surge family. The incredibly accomplished personnel (all Grammy nominees and leaders in their own right) includes:
Debuting in the fall of 2019 with concerts in Central FL and a featured virtual performance on JEN’s (Jazz Educators Network) International Conference, ReSurgence’s plans were interrupted for a bit due to Covid. However, the band recently completed recording of their first album project (release slated for early 2024) and are looking forward to offering a sneak preview of some of this new material along some of the very best of the Jazz Surge . . . . only in small group form!
