Moises will be releasing 10 original songs for his next album entitled Baiano, which is a name given to a person born in the state of Bahia. Most of the songs were inspired by the place where he was born in Brazil, the state of Bahia. Bahia is celebrated with many songs by many artists because of its beautiful beaches, religiosity, rhythms, landscape, accent, colors and its strong African and indigenous influence.
Moises chose to write this musical work using rhythms that are original or at least popular in his beloved land, such as baiao, xote, axe', frevo, coco, forro', ijexa', samba and bossa nova.
The recordings in this album include several especial participations of artists such as of Ken Peplowski, Diego Figueiredo, Chuchito Valdez and more. The recordings were done in Brazil, Mexico and USA. These recordings will be in all the online platforms and the video clips on YouTube and such.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear Moises's own commentaries about the songs and enjoy the rich sounds of his band. He will play guitar and sing, with Gary Aprile on electric bass, Liam Smith on drums and Christopher Burge on saxophone.Back to Calendar
