Tim Picard, Graeham Guerin, and Max Simas will come together this winter to form a powerful and dynamic guitar trio. Their set will be full of original compositions, informed by their individual and collective taste, ranging from bebop to free jazz. Tickets to attend this show are $15 each.
This event will also be livestreamed on BOP STOP's Facebook page at showtime. Accessing the stream is free but donations are encouraged and directly support the band. To donate, select "Donation: Livestream Attendee" (which is a $10 blanket ticket price) as your Ticket Option above.
--------------------
Graeham and Tim have many years of musical chemistry coming up as natives to the Cleveland jazz scene, learning from local greats like Dominick Farinacci, Chris Coles, Sam Blakslee, Paul Samuels and many others. Graeham was a YoungArts awardee, and is now pursuing his talents in Los Angeles, playing with the likes of Nicole McCabe. Tim Picard and young California drummer, Max Simas, have been honing their craft at Oberlin conservatory, studying with living legends Billy Hart, Eddie Henderson, and Gary Bartz, and along with Graham Guerin, hope to embody in their trio the inventive spirit that these legends did in their day.
