Bassist Darren Frate brings his band back to the BOP STOP to present an evening of jazz that we know will groove.
Tickets to attend in person are $20. This concert will also be livestreamed on BOP STOP's Facebook page at showtime.
Darren Frate Groups music has been described as world music, jazz and jazz fusion woven together by bass driven grooves and improvisation. The leader, bassist Darren Frate is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music. The group will be debuting new ensemble compositions, solo bass pieces as well as works from the bands release "Resonance".
Darren Frate (bass) will be joined by Dave Kasper (saxophones/woodwinds), Brent Hamker (guitar), Marcelino Quiroz (piano/keyboard), Efrain Hernandez on drums and special guest Jamey Haddad on percussion.
