Northeast Ohio has been a vibrant region for jazz for decades. There are clubs showcasing music nightly, plus local musicians continue to push the envelope of what ‘jazz’ means. Join us as we celebrate the launch of Ideastream Public Media’s new jazz streaming service, JazzNEO, with the next stop on our “Sound of Ideas Community Tour.” Hosted by Ideastream’s Executive Editor Mike McIntyre, the event will feature a discussion about our region’s jazz scene, as well as musical performances in front of a live audience.
The event will be held Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. at The Bop Stop in Cleveland. It is free and open to the public, though advanced registration is encouraged as space is limited. Select your tickets above.
