Cleveland native Drew Hoschar returns with his new quintet! Co-led by saxophonist Colin Palmeri, the Hoschar-Palmieri Quintet features some of the most exciting rising stars from across Ohio.
Tickets to this event are $20 each. This event will also be livestreamed on BOP STOP's Youtube Channel at showtime. Accessing the stream is free but donations are encouraged and directly support the band.

The Hoschar-Palmieri Quintet is a 5-piece jazz combo of the young rising stars of the Ohio jazz scenes pursuing jazz degrees at the Manhattan School of Music and the University of Cincinatti’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Both originally from northeast Ohio, drummer Drew Hoschar co-band leads with saxophonist Colin Palmieri for a night of fresh, original music, tasteful modern arrangements, and timeless classics with a band of young, heavy-hitting Cincinnati natives featuring Evan Taylor on guitar, Alex Nicodemus on piano, and Jack Early on bass.

Drew Hoschar is a drummer and composer hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, currently living in New York City.Drew was a seven-year member of the Tri-C Jazzfest Academy in Cleveland, where he was instructed by local heroes such as Dominick Farinacci, Ernie Krivda, Aidan Plank, Anthony Taddeo, Chris Coles, and others.Some of his biggest musical influences are Elvin Jones, Tony Williams, Bill Stewart, Brian Blade, and Ari Hoenig.
Drew Has studied extensively with Cleveland drummer and educator, Mark Gonder, and with New York City's, Carmen Intorre, Jr.
Drew is a recipient of both a merit award (2022) and honorable mention award (2023) from the National YoungArts Competition.
Drew currently attends the Manhattan School of Music in New York City under the mentorship of John Riley and Kendrick Scott, and studies privately with Ari Hoenig.
