BOP STOP
BOP STOP at The Music Settlement is Cleveland's premier listening room: an intimate, acoustically pristine performance venue with sweeping views of Lake Erie.
July 19 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Join us for a live recording event led by Cleveland saxophonist Chris Burge. The CB4 returns to the BOP STOP for an evening of standards and original compositions to be recorded in front of a live audience. The CB4 began in 2021 with a regular engagement at Jimmy's Place in Olmsted Falls, and has performed at BluJazz+ and the Bop Stop. The members have long performed together for private occasions, and as a backup band to other artists, such as Evelyn Wright.
The quartet is led by Christopher Burge, and plays tight, melodic, groove-oriented, and highly personal interpretations of American Songbook, Jazz, World, and Pop Standards, as well as originals. A recording of the group is in the works.
Featuring:
Tickets for this performance are $20 each. This event will not be livestreamed.
