Piano Masterclass with Jeffrey Brown

November 9 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Spend an afternoon learning piano technique from Jeffrey Brown, our newly hired Chair of the Center for Music at The Music Settlement.
Piano students of The Music Settlement will perform selections for Mr. Brown, who will provide suggestions and strategies for strengthening the performance in a live masterclass. The program will be held at 3:00 pm in Glick Recital Hall in the Burke Mansion of our University Circle campus. The masterclass is free and open to the public. Pianists of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend.
ABOUT JEFFREY BROWN
Jeff has performed throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe as a solo recitalist, chamber musicians, and soloist with orchestras. He was a prizewinner in the Kosciuszko Chopin Competition, a recipient of the Artist Presentation Society Award of St. Louis, and has been on the collaborative piano faculty of festival and institutions in Austria, Italy, and China. Jeff earned his DMA at the Eastman School of Music.
