BOP STOP is pleased to welcome the Hall of Fame Big Band led by Steve Kortyka and Matt Bott, ushering in the holiday season with their debut performance, featuring some of Cleveland’s finest talents re-imagining cherished holiday classics.

This powerhouse ensemble brings the electrifying energy of the Big Band Ensemble to the forefront, recharging timeless holiday classics with fresh and soulful arrangements that highlight the influences of today. Recently relocated from NYC back to his hometown of Cleveland, Kortyka is bringing his years of experience as a full time musician and arranger right to the Bop Stop for what is sure to be an unforgettable night of music.

The evening will be capped off by a stunning performance of Duke Ellington’s *Nutcracker Suite,* where Tchaikovsky’s iconic melodies are transformed through Ellington’s sophisticated swing and lush harmonies. Featuring some of the city’s top improvisers, this extraordinary finale promises to leave audiences captivated and bright with the spirit of the season.
