BOP STOP is pleased to welcome the Hall of Fame Big Band led by Steve Kortyka and Matt Bott, ushering in the holiday season with their debut performance, featuring some of Cleveland’s finest talents re-imagining cherished holiday classics. Each set will also featured selections from Duke Ellington's arrangements of music from *The Nutcracker Suite,* where Tchaikovsky’s iconic melodies are transformed through Ellington’s sophisticated swing and lush harmonies.
This powerhouse ensemble brings the electrifying energy of the Big Band Ensemble to the forefront, recharging timeless holiday classics with fresh and soulful arrangements that highlight the influences of today. Recently relocated from NYC back to his hometown of Cleveland, Kortyka is bringing his years of experience as a full time musician and arranger right to the Bop Stop for what is sure to be an unforgettable night of music.
There are two seatings for tonight's show:
7:00pm (doors at 6:00pm)
9:15pm (doors at 8:30pm)
Tickets for each show are $25 in advance, $30 day of show (a $2 per ticket processing fee will be added to your order).
