BOP STOP at The Music Settlement is Cleveland's premier listening room: an intimate, acoustically pristine performance venue with sweeping views of Lake Erie.

National Recording Artist Maria Jacobs returns to the BOP STOP with her quartet. Maria is thrilled to be working with Rock Wehrmann on piano, Bryan Thomas on Bass, Roy King on drums, and Bob Fraser on guitar. Tickets to attend this show in person are $20 each (a $2 per ticket processing fee will be added to your purchase).
This event will also be livestreamed on BOP STOP's Youtube Channel at showtime. Accessing the stream is free but donations are encouraged and directly support the band.

Maria Jacobs' “Back at the Bop Stop” was accepted for Grammy review in the best jazz vocal album category in 2024. The album features Rock Wehrmann on piano, Bryan Thomas on bass and Jamey Haddad on drums.
Maria is a licensed Music educator and a Principle Conductor for Open Tone Music, which brings music programs to young students in inner Akron and Cleveland communities. She is also the Adjunct Professor of Applied Vocal Jazz at Kent State University.
Maria lived in Los Angeles for 12 years where she recorded and performed frequently in some of LA’s premier venues and with many top area musicians, including Alphonso Johnson and the late, great Ndugu Chancellor, both of Weather Report. She has been the opening act for Jazz trumpeter and Songwriter Chuck Mangione, Bob Dorough, The Average White Band and British Soul band Loose Ends.
As a national voice over artist, Maria’s voice has graced both national and regional commercials and films. She is represented by The Docherty Agency.
Her music has charted nationally on the Groove Jazz and Smooth Jazz Holiday Charts, and can be heard on radio stations around the country.
Maria’s jazz infused Christian album, released in 2025, debuted and remained in the top 10 on the Christian radio charts for months and was on the ballot in the first round of voting, accepted for Grammy review, in the best contemporary Christian album category for the 2026 Grammy Awards®️.
Maria is also listed on IMDb as the composer of the theme song to an award-winning short film and television show (So This Is Love).
