Rachel Brown has been dubbed “The Honky Tonk Queen of Cleveland” due to her gospel type piano stylings reminiscent of Floyd Cramer and the great Jerry Lee Lewis. Her band, The Beatnik Playboys, have been together almost 17 years. Dave Huddleston (guitar/vocals), Bill Watson (bass/vocals) and Roy King are accomplished musicians in many genres which gives the band its unique sound. Rachel & The Beatnik Playboys have recorded four albums of original songs as well as one focusing on the music of Patsy Cline. Their latest release, “Full Moon Rendezvous” was accepted for a 2025 Grammy nomination.
Rachel has been performing Traditional Country/Gospel/Americana/Blues music since she was 6 years old and hails from a family with deep roots in traditional music.
