Award-winning Brazilian 10-string mandolin virtuoso and Berklee College of Music master’s graduate Ian Coury leads the Ian Coury Trio in a vibrant blend of Brazilian music and contemporary jazz, pushing the boundaries of the mandolin with virtuosity, improvisation, and deep emotion.
Tickets for tonight are $25 each (a $2 per ticket processing fee will be added to your purchase).

The Ian Coury Trio presents a virtuosic concert that celebrates the richness of Brazilian music in dialogue with contemporary jazz. Led by award-winning Brazilian mandolinist Ian Coury, a virtuoso of the 10-string mandolin and a Master’s graduate from Berklee College of Music, this instrumental trio features Ian’s original compositions as well as classics of the Brazilian repertoire re-imagined by three world-class musicians.
Since he was a nationally recognized prodigy in his native Brazil, Ian has been expanding the possibilities of the 10-string mandolin by exploring new sounds, improvisation, and musical freedom. His work seeks to push beyond the traditional boundaries of the instrument, building bridges between the traditions of Brazilian music and the open, contemporary language of jazz.
