Always writing from the heart, Stevens captures the complexity of the human experience through vulnerability and self-reflection. There is a very unique quality of Americana and reckoning with being an American, examining society built by unfair systems, but also celebrating the people and places that make up community.

Tickets for tonight are $20 each (a $3 per ticket processing fee will be added to your purchase).

------------------

Northeast Ohio songstress Anya Van Rose brings sparkle, grit, and the occasional bubble machine to her full band performances, while her solo set leans into a quieter, more intimate sound reminiscent of Waxahatchee and Mazzy Star. As a young songwriter, she found her voice in quiet conversation with the unfolding catalog of Sufjan Stevens—his songs arriving as she was just beginning to write her own. Having witnessed Sufjan’s performances across multiple eras, she carries not only the influence of his sound, but the creative permission embedded in his work: to remain searching, fluid, and unafraid of transformation. Her debut album Lucky Stars (2023) earned recognition from NPR Shuffle and led to touring in cities like Nashville, New York, and Philadelphia. Her latest single “Sleep Smoking” (2026) debuted through an immersive performance set inside its own music video in Canton, Ohio. Alongside her upcoming 2026 record exploring themes of life, death, and memory, Anya supports emerging artists through her nonprofit Bring Your Song in partnership with Realgrey Records.

Benjamin Lee Coates (b. 2003) is a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Canton, Ohio. As a songwriter and producer, he has released 4 full-length albums under the name Harborer, and has worked with artists like Josee McGee and Maseh Nchang.

Bethany Joy is a singer-songwriter from Cleveland, OH whose music blends intimate storytelling with lush, groove-driven arrangements. Drawing from influences like Julia Jacklin and Lianne La Havas, she creates a sound that moves fluidly between raw emotional indie rock and smooth, expressive jazz.

Garrett Folger is a freelance composer, educator, and performer based in Cleveland, Ohio. A graduate of the conservatory of music at Baldwin-Wallace University, he has performed across the country including at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall, as well as internationally in Canada, Europe, and in numerous festivals across Cuba in 2023. Notable musical collaborations at home include performances with Sammy DeLeon y su Orquesta, the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, and Jazzworks. Garrett has released four recordings as a leader: DUO (2025) with Aidan Plank, its hard to know for sure what is happening but all you need to do is listen and be a part of it (2026) with Tyler Hawes, and two recordings with Horizon Trio, Horizon (2025) and Oscilla (2026)

Singer/songwriter Grace Blackford crafts emotive, thoughtful R&B -forward tracks that affirm and arrest listeners in equal measure. No matter the stylistic avenue she explores, from the lush electronic production of her debut album 'Inside My Head,' to the earthy, stripped-down sounds of her EP 'How Does Anybody Ever Move On,' Blackford's introspective spirit and soulful voice guide each song through highly personal explorations of nostalgia, grief, and the complex, multifaceted nature of love. In a live setting, Grace presents an intimate and immediate concert experience centered around her captivating vocal presence and aching vulnerability.

Jeremy McCabe is a drummer and songwriter based in Cleveland, Ohio. Coming up learning from local greats such as Paul Samuels, Carmen Castaldi, Anthony Taddeo, and others, Jeremy’s passion for drumming led him to Oberlin Conservatory, where he studied with Billy Hart and Jamey Haddad and graduated in 2021. Since then, he has been active on the Northeast Ohio scene, supporting a wide range of musicians including Bobby Selvaggio, Brent Kirby, Ray Flanagan, Hey Mavis, Bryan Kennard, Reclamation Band, Max Schlenk, Grace Blackford, and Strange Harbor. He currently co-leads indie/art rock band Matte Blue, co-hosts the popular Mercury Music Lounge jam, and mans the drum chair in Americana-roots band Cowboy Princess Brigade.

Jesse Hodgson is a guitar player, and trumpet player from Northeast Ohio. He is primarily known for his work as a pit musician supporting regional theatre productions for Cleveland Playhouse, Beck Center for the Arts, Near West Theatre and Blank Canvas Theatre as well as shows at Baldwin Wallace University and Case Western Reserve University. In addition to performing, he recently recorded and produced Easy, Tiger for the band New American Gothic.

Jon Cox is originally from Chicago, IL. His musical influences range from Ska, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and music of the indie rock persuasion. You can find him around town playing trombone with a variety of different groups such as Rubix Groove, Cowboy Princess Brigade, Land of Panda, Nite Klub, Hot Jazz 7, and Jinari Kemet & The Black Jackets. His favorite Sufjan Stevens (that is not Chicago) is a tie between "Come on! Feel the Illinoise!" or "Vesuvius."

Joshua Prince Tucker is a Virginia-born multi-instrumental singer-songwriter. His musicality comes from being immersed in the rich folk traditions of American jazz and Appalachia. He unashamedly takes inspiration from Sufjan Stevens in his approach to music, using a sense of expressive energy to create stories that guide the composition and lyricism. Tucker plays under the name Prince Tucker and leads the band Strange Harbor, he is a member of the bands Cowboy Princess Brigade, Late Braces, TobyRaps, Miguel Café, and Sky Vixen, and he works as a freelance musician with many artists and bands across NE Ohio. It’s a joy to celebrate the music of a personal hero!

Ricardo Morales Vivero is a guitarist and composer born in Quito, Ecuador. He studied jazz guitar at the Franz Liszt Conservatory in Quito and got his B.A in Jazz Studies from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. A musician with an eclectic background, Ricardo brings together a variety of genres to deliver a sound that feels fresh but familiar to listeners from all around the world. He was a recipient of the “Unidos por el Arte” grant from the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center. He used the grant to record and release his debut album "Introspectiva". You can find it on all streaming platforms.
