Hailing from the funky rust belt town of Northeast, Ohio, The Admirables have created a live experience that is all about good vibes! Going to an Admirables show is a party. Bold and funky earth tones from the horns at the front line lead the band through dynamic twists and turns. Hypnotic grooves from the rhythm section get heads bobbing and bodies moving. An Admirables show is a healing and exciting experience. Whether The Admirables are jamming on a trap groove or laying down the funk, their #1 goal is to get you moving. The band calls upon many of the feel-good muses of groove music such as Kool & the Gang, J Dilla, James Brown, Erykah Badu, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, plus many more. As the old adage goes music is food for the soul. The Admirables will get you fed!

Nathan-Paul grew up a pastor’s son from Cleveland, and knows how to deliver sound medicine to the people. His velvety lo-fi sounds are a vibe-heavy soul party, fusing modern trap, 70s funk, and fiery southern gospel. He writes for pure enjoyment. “The way I go about writing, I’m like extreme southern hospitality. I’ll always have something for you. I won’t let you leave until you take something with you.”, he said. Singing choir by age 5, Nathan is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in saxophone and flute, as well as production and composition. Though he may defy genre constructs, Nathan-Paul is a Jazz Studies graduate from the University of Akron, and is improvising all the time - influenced by greats Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Louis Armstrong.
Nathan-Paul was the music director for Colmine recording artist Wesley Bright & The Honeytones, during which time he contributed toward arrangements and songwriting, and opened for bands including War, Tower of Power, Lee Fields, and Charles Bradley. Written for Bright, Nathan’s song ‘Happiness’ earned him a placement with Nike skateboard.
Nathan-Paul was also named a 2026 Cleveland Arts Prize Verge Fellowship Artist.
