Brooklyn native Adam O'Farrill has cemented himself as one of the most in-demand trumpet players on the international contemporary jazz scene. His musical lineage runs deep: his grandfather was Cuban composer and arranger Chico O'Farrill; his father is the composer, pianist, and activist Arturo O'Farrill; his mother Alison Deane is a classical pianist and educator; and his brother and frequent collaborator Zack O'Farrill is a drummer and musicologist. A graduate of LaGuardia High School and the Manhattan School of Music, O'Farrill has been hailed by The New York Times as "among the leading trumpeters in jazz" and has collaborated extensively with artists including Hiromi, Mary Halvorson, Vijay Iyer, Tyshawn Sorey, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Anna Webber, Mulatu Atstatke, Samora Pinderhughes and Son Lux.

His most recent release, ELEPHANT (Out of Your Head Records, 2026) introduces his first quartet as sole horn voice, bringing together pianist Yvonne Rogers, bassist Walter Stinson, and drummer Russell Holzman — an old friend from LaGuardia. Together the quartet achieves a controlled intensity that feels both muscular and intimate, equally grounded in jazz tradition and contemporary sound worlds. A two-time Downbeat Critics Poll Rising Star Trumpeter, O'Farrill remains among the most critically lauded under-35 artists shaping 21st-century improvised music.

Yvonne Rogers is a pianist, composer, and multimedia artist from Maine, now based in Brooklyn, New York. Described as a "Fresh, new voice on piano" (Paul Acquaro, The Free Jazz Collective), she is in demand as both a side-person and bandleader in New York and beyond. She has performed at venues and festivals including the Jazz Gallery, Roulette Intermedium, the Blue Note, NYC Winter Jazz Fest, Porgy and Bess (AT), and the DC Jazz Festival, with artists including Ralph Alessi, Linda May Han Oh, Ingrid Laubrock, and Sara Serpa. Yvonne is a 2024 Next Jazz Legacy Awardee and holds accolades including the 2025 Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Residency and the 2024 Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composers Award from ASCAP. She was a member of the 2021/2022 Focusyear Band in Basel, Switzerland, and is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music. Currently she leads her own quartet and performs with Ingrid Laubrock's Lilith and Adam O'Farrill's ELEPHANT. Her debut album Seeds (2023, Relative Pitch Records) and solo piano release The Button Jar (2026, Pyroclastic Records) are available on all streaming platforms.

Walter Stinson is a bassist, educator and composer currently based between Brooklyn, NY and Montréal, QC. After graduating from Purchase College in 2012, he moved to New York City where he has been working steadily ever since. Some of his most frequent collaborators include Adam O’Farrill, Kevin Sun, Max Light and Aaron Quinn. He has shared stages all over the world with Billy Hart, John Hollenbeck, Caroline Davis, Kenny Werner, Roy Nathanson, Arturo O’Farrill, Anna Webber, David Binney and Jean-Michel Pilc. In 2025, Stinson, along with pianist Evan Main and drummer Steven Crammer, released their eponymous collaboratively-led piano trio “Prawntail” on Endectomorph Records

Russell Holzman is a drummer, producer, and creator born and raised in New York City. Coming from a family of musicians, he received a formal musical training at LaGuardia High School and New England Conservatory of Music, building a dynamic foundation across Jazz, Classical, and contemporary music. He now tours and records extensively with artists including Caroline Polachek, and has worked with producers such as Mike Dean, A.G. Cook, Fred again.., Bicep, David Sitek, and Steven Wilson, spanning pop, rock, hip-hop, jazz and electronic music. His drum videos have amassed tens of millions of views on social media, earning him a large following and lasting influence in the drumming community. Russell is currently based in NYC and does in-studio recording work as well as live performances all over the world. Russell Holzman plays A&F Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, Vic Firth Drumsticks, and Gibraltar Hardware.
