Darren Frate Groups music has been described as world music, jazz and jazz fusion woven together by bass driven grooves and improvisation. Many of the compositions touch on eastern rhythms and harmonies combined with jazz influences in order to create a unique combination of styles. The group will be debuting new songs as well as playing compositions from their previous releases "Resonance" and the "Parnell Road Sessions".
Darren Frate will be joined by a group of Columbus Ohio's most sought after musicians in Ben Maloney on keys, Jake Smith on saxophone/flute and Kyle Rowland on drums. The group will also be joined by several guests for this show.
Tickets for tonight are $25 (a $3 per ticket processing fee will be added to your purchase).
This event will also be livestreamed on BOP STOP's Youtube Channel at showtime. Accessing the stream is free but donations are encouraged and directly support the band.
