About The Music Settlement

Since 1912, The Music Settlement has connected people from all ages and backgrounds to celebrate and share experiences through the universal language of music. Our vision is to create an inclusive community where artistic expression belongs to everyone by serving those who seek personal growth through the arts.

We operate three centers at our University Circle and Ohio City campuses:

The Music Settlement also owns and operates Bop Stop, a live music and performance venue. Combined, we serve over 9,000 individuals annually.

We ensure music and the arts are accessible to all through our generous financial assistance program and year-round enrollment at our historic east side campus in University Circle and our west side campus in Ohio City.

Our programs are delivered by exceptional faculty in an environment that nurtures individual achievement and creativity, allowing students and clients to reach their full potential while developing a lifelong love of the arts.

We offer generous financial aid and scholarships so that all have access to our beneficial arts-infused programming. We also welcome and encourage all members of our community to get involved with TMS in a variety of opportunities: as volunteers; attending recitals, performances, and events; and through gifts of support.

THANK YOU!

We can't do it without you!

Your support allows us to deliver accessible, life-enhancing music and arts experiences to people of all ages and abilities, furthering our mission to welcome all to our music and arts community to learn, create, inspire, and heal.

We are deeply grateful to the William O. and Gertrude Lewis Frohring Foundation for their generous support of this performance.

We also acknowledge and thank Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC) and Ohio Arts Council (OAC) for their continued generous support of financial assistance to arts organizations like ours to strengthen Cuyahoga County and Ohio culturally, educationally, and economically.
