Dan started playing drums and percussion when he was 8 years old. By the time he was in high school, he had dedicated his life to his love of music. He went on to study percussion performance at Bowling Green State University.
Since then he has spent time touring and recording with various original acts from the Cleveland area, as well as teaching private lessons around Cleveland. He taught himself how to record music, and these days splits his time between drumming and producing records for some of Cleveland’s local talent. He plays and records the most with his bands, Herzog and The Cross Brothers, in Cleveland and other cities around the midwest and east coast.
Dan teaches snare drum, drumset, marimba, timpani, and other classical percussion.
