A cello at your fingertips and the world at your feet...
Advance your cello skills and refine your technique in our three-day cello camp! Sessions will tackle various technical challenges for intermediate to advanced players, using specific repertoire-based excerpts and etudes, as well as technical exercises, drills, scales, and games. Additionally, there will be opportunities for individual help, so bring your current repertoire, challenges, and questions. There will also be time for some cello fun, including a few cello-related games and each day will conclude with a cello choir reading session.
Skill Level: Intermediate and up (Suzuki Book 4 and up)
Prerequisite: Please bring a piece you are currently working on, along with any cello-related challenges and questions.

Cellist Jeff Singler is a performer and private cello instructor based in the Cleveland area. Cellist Jeff Singler is a performer and private cello instructor based in the Cleveland area. He has taught at both Youngstown State University and Ohio University, and is an active lecturer and clinician across the region. Mr. Singler regularly performs with the Columbus Symphony and the Erie Philharmonic, and has performed with Akron, Canton, Youngstown, and West Virginia Symphonies, as well as Blossom Festival Orchestra, and Blue Water Chamber Orchestra, among others. Mr. Singler also performs regularly as a chamber musician, recitalist, and soloist, and with the local jazz group Prism.
